ABOUT VNS PRODUCTIONS
VNS Productions is the community interest element of the company that provides a multitude of services with one of the main focuses of providing platforms and opportunities for young People, artists and creatives to empower, educate and develop themselves and their careers within the creative entertainment industry.
We offer a range of different workshops in music business/entrepreneurial skills, music production, dancing, singing and Djing, with the focus on developing Individuals to enable them to build knowledge, skills and confidence so they can continue to excel in their chosen art form.
With all our experience we continue to provide formative and unique opportunities for all our customers that are directed towards the creative industry.
OUR EVENTS
We create our own events because we believe they provide individuals with direct opportunities to gain experience in the entertainment industry. Our events also serve as a platform for emerging creatives and artists to showcase their talent, develop their craft, and build valuable working relationships with other artists and industry professionals.
Our flagship event brand, LIVE VIBE, showcases multiple genres on one stage. We also host the LIVE VIBE Festival annually, focusing on independent, emerging artists. In addition to these, we organise two other popular events. The first is EMERGE, which highlights high-quality, up-and-coming artists, and the second is our open mic event, providing artists at any level the chance to gain experience and showcase their music.
Furthermore, we run takeover-style events, collaborating with other brands or companies. In 2022, we produced the Live Vibe Takeover for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games festival at Victoria Square, and in 2023, we returned to the stage as part of the Birmingham 2023 Festival. We also organise a Youth Takeover event, partnering with the Birmingham Youth Service to showcase young talent.
Additionally, we've collaborated with notable festivals and organisations, including Heal Festival, The Hippodrome, Birmingham Weekender, and Digbeth Dining Club/Hockley Social Club.

OUR WORKSHOPS
MUSIC BUSINESS
This workshop consist of providing skills and knowledge on the music industry to either help artists get a better understanding of what they need to succeed in the industry or to help young entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge to set up their own events companies, this includes an introduction to the world of social media and how to exploit the opportunities it offers.
SINGING
This is a workshop that develops vocal skills which aims to help individuals develop as performers.
SONGWRITING/POETRY
We recognise that songwriting is a profession on its own and that you don’t need to be a performing artist to write hit lyrics so this workshop focuses on developing individual songwriting/poetry skills, with the focus on creating their own songs/spoken word pieces.
PERFORMANCE/ARTIST DEVELOPMENT
This workshop is aimed at developing stage presence, building confidence as a performing artist and also looking at the ways in which you launch yourself as an artist. (Linked with music business workshop)
DANCING
The dance workshops concentrate on teaching a range of different dance styles, these workshops can be tailored to suit individuals or groups.
DJING
Dj-ing is an art form in itself, this workshop teaches students how to DJ different types of music by giving them the skills and providing them with the art of mixing music to deliver a structured set.
MUSICAL PRODUCTION
Individuals are taught how to use music production software which will enable them to produce their own tracks, this session includes an introduction on how a studio works and how to gain employment within the field.
MUSIC MEDIA
Individuals are given the skills and the knowledge to use professional software to enable them to make music videos/short films.
